Welcome to the website of contemporary Scottish artist, Irene Gall
Artist Irene Gall of Thornhill, Dumfriesshire (also known under her married name of Irene McCann) paints mainly in oils inspired by the landscapes of Scotland, England and the continent. She is interested in natural and man made landscape, often showing scenery modified or enhanced by monuments, castles and standing stones
A native of Dumfries and Galloway, Irene has been drawing and painting for most of her life.
Her work is often exhibited at venues in Glasgow and the artists' town of Kirkcudbright in Dumfries and Galloway, but enquiries about work featured on this site are welcomed. All paintings are for sale, unless marked otherwise. Prices range from £200 to £1,000, available on application; click on an image to see it in more detail.
